Workspaces, websites and team
Workspaces, websites, members, roles and invitations: how LogNorm organises your team and sites.
LogNorm organises everything in two levels. A workspace is your team: its members, plan, credits, billing and AI keys. Inside it, each website is one site you grow, with its own moves, keywords, competitors, plan and results.
Workspaces
A workspace is the boundary for people and money. Members, roles, the subscription, the credit balance, AI provider keys and publishing connections all belong to one workspace. Work in one workspace is never visible from another.
You can belong to several workspaces, for example your own startup and a client. Switch between them from the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar. To create another, open that menu and choose New workspace. Each workspace has its own plan and billing.
Workspace settings
Owners and admins edit the workspace under SettingsGeneral: the name, URL slug, logo, company domain and domain auto-join, and the Weekly rhythm card with your weekly capacity and the Monday digest email. The weekly capacity and digest apply to every website in the workspace.
Only an owner can delete a workspace, from the same page, by typing its name to confirm. Payments and invoices are kept for your records.
Websites
Most of LogNorm works per website. Each website has its own moves, weekly plan, keywords and topics, competitors, audits, AI visibility prompts, Search Console connection, CMS connection and results. Switch the website you are working on from the website menu in the sidebar.
Add a website
- Open the websites page
Go to SettingsWebsites, or choose Add website from the website menu in the sidebar.
- Enter the address
Click Add website, enter the Website address, check the Market and click Add and analyze. LogNorm starts analysing it immediately, the same way it did during onboarding.
- Fill in the details
From the website’s menu, choose Edit details to set its name, market, what the product does and its ideal customer profile. These feed every move and brief for that site.
How many websites a workspace can hold depends on your plan. Only owners and admins can add, edit or delete websites.
Market
Each website has one market: the country, and the language where a country has more than one, that its keyword volumes, rankings and competitors come from. LogNorm supports 94 countries. It defaults to the United States in English, or to the country of a country domain such as .de or .co.uk. Its card on the websites page shows the market, and a website that serves two countries needs to be added once per country.
Changing the market opens a choice. Save and refresh data re-runs keyword research, rank tracking and competitor analysis for the new country now, and uses credits like running them yourself, with competitor analysis charged per tracked competitor. Save only saves it without spending anything; the data switches over on the next research run, and Keywords shows a reminder until it does. See Your market.
Manage a website
- Make primary sets the website shown first and listed first in the weekly digest.
- Re-analyze site runs a fresh crawl and analysis.
- Delete website removes its crawl, audit, keywords, moves, content, publish targets and Search Console connection. You confirm by typing the domain, and it can’t be undone.
Company Brain sources can belong to one website or be shared by all of them, so separate products or agency clients never mix. See Company Brain.
Roles
Every member has one role, and roles apply to the whole workspace. You can see the same matrix in the app under SettingsMembers.
| Role | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access, including billing and deleting the workspace. |
| Admin | Manage the team, websites, integrations and settings. |
| Editor | Create, edit, review and publish content and moves. |
| Contributor | Work on moves and content assigned to them. |
| Analyst | Run research, audits, SEO and AI visibility analysis. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to everything in the workspace. |
Owner and Admin are available on every plan. Editor, Contributor, Analyst and Viewer depend on your plan including custom roles.

On the Moves page, a Contributor sees only the moves they own. Assign a move to them to put it on their list.
A few rules protect the workspace:
- Only an owner can make someone an owner, or change or remove another owner.
- You can’t change your own role or remove yourself; ask another owner or admin.
- A workspace always keeps at least one owner.
Invite your team
- Open Members
Go to SettingsMembers and click Invite people.
- Enter an email and a role
Type their Work email, pick a Role and click Send invitation. They get an email with a link to join.
- Share the link if needed
The confirmation shows the invite link with Copy link. Share it directly if the email lands in spam. The link works for 7 days.
The invited person opens the link, signs in or creates an account, and joins with the role you chose. Pending invitations are listed under Pending invitations, where you can copy the link, resend or revoke them. Expired ones are marked Expired.
Your plan sets how many members a workspace can have, and pending invitations count toward it. Revoke invitations you no longer need to free a seat.
Domain auto-join
To let colleagues join without an invitation, set your Company domain under SettingsGeneral and turn on Domain auto-join. Anyone who signs up with an email on that domain sees your workspace during onboarding and can join it as an Editor. Owners and admins get a notification when someone joins. Seats still count toward your plan, and auto-join needs a plan that includes custom roles.
The free trial
Your first workspace starts on a 14-day trial of the Growth plan with 1,000 credits. The sidebar shows how many days are left. Each person gets the trial once: workspaces you create later start on the Free plan, and people you invite join without a trial of their own.
When the trial ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan’s limits and every member gets a notification. Your data stays. Choose a plan under SettingsPlan & billing to get the paid features back. See Credits and billing and the pricing page.
